Social media has become extremely influential when it comes to policy making in modern societies especially in the western world (e.g., 48% of Europeans use social media every day or almost every day). TEDB System Description to a Shared Task on Euphemism Detection 2022

These Transformers for euphemism detection baseline (TEDB) submissions to a shared task on euphemism Detection 2022 are described and observed pretrained models on sentiment analysis and offensiveness detection to correlate with more F1-score while pretraining on other tasks, such as sarcasm detection, produces less F 1-scores.
