Polio and postpolio sequelae: the lived experience.

Abstract

Many polio survivors who have been asymptomatic for a number of years are now experiencing problems with fatigue, weakness, pain, and cold intolerance. Treatment is possible, and support groups are available to deal with postpolio sequelae.
