OBJECTIVE To explore female and transvestite sex workers' perceptions of risk in the sex work environment in Serbia. DESIGN Qualitative interview study. SETTING Street based locations for sex work in Belgrade and Pancevo, Serbia. PARTICIPANTS 31 female and transvestite sex workers.
