Despite the very active coagulation system in camels, there are no previous studies on camel platelet functions. It is our aim to study camel platelet function using aggregometry, Platelet Function Analyzer (PFA100), and flow cytometry. A total of 103 camels, 19 males and 84 females, were studied. Their ages ranged from 5 to 20 years (mean±SD: 6.4±4.4 years). The results obtained were compared with healthy humans.
