To clarify the mechanism of plasma kininogen deficiency of Brown Norway Katholiek strain (B/N-Katholiek) rats, we compared synthesis and secretion of kininogens by primary cultures of hepatocytes from B/N-Katholiek and B/N-Kitasato (normal strain) rats.
