Calli were induced from leaf explants of seedling in Citrus grandis (L.) Osbeck (pummelo) on MS medium supplemented with 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D), 1-naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA), 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid, 2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetic, 4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid, 4-methoxy-3,6-dichlorobenzoic acid or 4-amino-3,5,6-trichloropicolinic acid. 2,4-D was most effective.
