In this report we address the changes in the expression of the genes involved in ROS scavenging and ethylene biosynthesis induced by the inoculation of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) isolated from potato rhizosphere. The two Bacillus isolates used in this investigation had earlier demonstrated a striking influence on potato tuberization.
