Treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory aggressive non-Hodgkin B-cell lymphoma remains an unmet clinical need, and the progressive myocardial toxicity related to cumulative, dose-dependent damage induced by anthracyclines represents a tricky issue in the planning of therapy.
