Phytoplankton and phytobenthos pigment strategies: implications for algal survival in the changing Arctic

Abstract

We compared phytoplankton and phytobenthos pigment strategies in 17 shallow lakes and ponds from northern Canada and Alaska, sampled during mid to late summer.
