Alternanthera brasiliana (L.) O. kuntze, (Amaranthaceae) is an important herb found as a perennial herb, native to tropical and subtropical regions of Australia and South America; five species have been recorded from India. Through almost all of its parts are used in traditional system of medicines, leaves are the most important parts which are use medicinally. ______________________________________________________________________________
