Chemical Constituents of Two Endemic Sideritis Species from Turkey with Antioxidant Activity
In this study, two Sideritis species, endemic to Turkey, S. niveotomentosa Huber – Morathii, S. brevidens P.H. Davis have been studied for their diterpenic compounds and the antioxidant properties.
Diterpenoids from Sideritis tmolea P . H . Davis
Four known ent-kaurene diterpenoids 1-4 were isolated from the acetone extract of Sideritis tmolea P. H. Davis by using different chromatographic methods. The structures of the isolated compounds
Metabolic profile and biological activity of Sideritis brevibracteata P. H. Davis endemic to Turkey
ABSTRACT Essential oil and phenolic compositions of Sideritis brevibracteata P.H. Davis, which is an endemic species in Turkey and commonly used as a herbal tea for some diseases, were determined by
Diterpenoids from Sideritis condensata. Evaluation of chemotaxonomy of Sideritis species and insecticidal activity
Several aromatic plants are used as herbal tea in Turkey, and one of the most commonly used plants for herbal tea is the genus Sideritis, which is widely grown, particularly in Aegean and
Phytochemistry and chemotaxonomy of Sideritis species from the Mediterranean region.
Characterization of Sideritis trojana Bornm. essential oil and its antimicrobial activity
The components of the essential oil obtained from the dried aerial parts of Sideritis trojana Bornm. by hydrodistillation was analyzed both by GC-FID and GC-MS, simultaneously. Overall 57 compounds
Chemical Characterization and Antibacterial Activity of Two Aromatic Herbs (Santolina chamaecyparissus and Sideritis angustifolia) Widely Used in the Folk Medicine
The aim of this work was characterize the essentials oils (EOs) obtained from Santolina chamaecyparissus and Sideritis angustifolia determining (1) its chemical composition and (2) its effectiveness

Ent-Kaurene Diterpenes from Sideritis Athoa
Abstract Two new and six known ent-kaurene diterpenes were isolated from the whole plant of Sideritis athoa and their structures were elucidated as ent-3α, 18-dihydroxykaur-16-ene (1), athonolone
Eubotriol and eubol, new diterpenes fromSideritis euboea
2 new diterpenes Eubotriol (ent-kaur-16-ene-7α, 15β, 18triol) (I), and eubol (ent-kaur-16-ene-7α-acetoxy-15β, 18 diol) (II) have been isolated from Sideritis euboea Helder.
The chemistry of the Euphorbiaceae. VII. The diterpenes of Ricinocarpus stylosus Diels
The ether extract of Ricinocarpus stylosus has yielded polyalthic acid, three new naturally occurring flavonoid pigments and four new kauranoid diterpenes. The latter have been shown to be
