In order to simulate the distribution and elimination of radioiodinated human beta-endorphin (125I-beta-EP) after iv bolus injection in rats, we proposed a physiologically based pharmacokinetic model incorporating diffusional transport of 125I-beta-EP across the capillary membrane.
