The ratio of the cross sections for the transversely and longitudinally virtual photon polarizations, σ p L/T , at high photon-hadron energy scattering is studied. I investigate the relationship between the gluon distribution obtained using the color dipole model and standard gluons obtained from the Dokshitzer-Gribov-Lipatov-Altarelli-Parisi (DGLAP) evolution and the Altarelli-Martinelli equations. It is shown that the color dipole bounds are dependent on the gluon distribution behavior. This…

An evaluation of the proton structure functions F2 and F at small x
Abstract We describe the determination of the DIS structure functions F 2 and F L by using the singlet Dokshitzer-Gribov-Lipatov-Altarelli-Parisi (DGLAP) and Altarelli-Martinelli equations at small
Analytic derivation of the photon structure function $$F^{\gamma }_{2} (x,Q^{2})$$ at the leading order and the next-to-leading order approximations based on the Laplace transform method
In this paper, we present the analytical solutions, based on the Laplace transform method, for the Dokshitzer–Gribov–Lipatov–Altarelli–Parisi evolution equations of the photon at the leading order
In a way he was right. And it is already 10 years since Rethinking Architecture was published, so maybe the ideas are now 20 years out of date. Certainly my own thinking has shifted, and the opinions
Color dipole picture and extracting the ratio of structure functions at small x
We present a set of formulas to extract the ratio $F_{L}(x,Q^{2})/F_{2}(x,Q^{2})$ and $R(x,Q^{2})$ from the proton structure function parameterized in the next-to-next-to-leading order of the

Parton distributions from LHC, HERA, Tevatron and fixed target data: MSHT20 PDFs
We present the new MSHT20 set of parton distribution functions (PDFs) of the proton, determined from global analyses of the available hard scattering data. The PDFs are made available at NNLO, NLO,
Soft diffraction within the QCD color dipole picture
In this work we consider the QCD parton saturation models to describe soft interactions at the high energy limit. The total and elastic cross sections as well as the elastic slope parameter are
