The phylogenetic relationships of the genera of Epipsocetae were inferred on the basis of 122 morphological characters of adult specimens, corroborating the monophyly of the group with ten synapomorphies. The genera are grouped in well defined clades consistent at family level. Dolabellopsocidae, Ptiloneuridae and Epipsocidae are recognized as monophyletic families. In each family, the genera appear as monophyletic units, except in Epipsocidae, where the relationships are ambiguous and…

Phylogeny of the suborder Psocomorpha: congruence and incongruence between morphology and molecular data (Insecta: Psocodea: ‘Psocoptera’)
The largest suborder of bark lice (Insecta: Psocodea: ‘Psocoptera’) is Psocomorpha, which includes over 3600 described species. We estimated the phylogeny of this major group with family-level taxon
Descriptions and records of Cladiopsocidae and Dolabellopsocidae (Insecta: Psocodea: 'Psocoptera') from Valle del Cauca and National Natural Park Gorgona, Colombia.
TLDR
The description of the nine new species from Valle del Cauca and NNP Gorgona, the new records for Colombia and identification keys to the neotropical species of both families are presented.
Phylogenetic relationships of the genera of Ptiloneuridae (Psocodea, 'Psocoptera', Epipsocetae) and a test on the monophyly of Brasineura Silva-Neto & García Aldrete and Loneuroides García Aldrete.
TLDR
The phylogenetic relationships of the genera of Ptiloneuridae were inferred on the basis of morphological characters of adult specimens and a correction of nomenclature for the parts of the phallosome in Brasineura was made.
A new genus of Ptiloneuridae, its position within the family, and descriptions of five species (Psocodea, ‘Psocoptera’)
Abstract Upon examination of ptiloneurid specimens recently collected in forests of natural areas and Natural National Parks in Colombia, ten males and seven females were found that represent five
New Chinese psocids from Eocene Fushun amber (Insecta: Psocodea)
TLDR
Sinopsyllipsocus fushunensis is the second unequivocal fossil of Psyllipsocidae and Eotriplocania sinica is the first Asiatic and oldest representative of the Neotropical family Ptiloneuridae, and reveals a formerly global distribution of the family.
A new species of Ianthorntonia García Aldrete, from Bolivia, and description of the female Ianthorntonia marshalli García Aldrete (Psocodea: Psocomorpha: Epipsocetae: Epipsocidae)
Abstract. A species of Ianthorntonia Garcia Aldrete from the Department of La Paz, Bolivia, is here described and illustrated. It is based on a male, and differs from the other five species in the
A new monotypic genus of Epipsocidae (Psocodea: ‘Psocoptera’: Psocomorpha) from Cusco, Peru
A new monotypic genus of Epipsocidae, from Machu Picchu and Aguascalientes, Cusco, Peru, is here described and illustrated. It is related to Gojaoides Garcia Aldrete, from which it clearly differs in
New genera of Psocoptera (Insecta), from Mexico, Belize and Ecuador (Psoquillidae, Ptiloneuridae, Lachesillidae)
Four new species of Psocoptera are described, each in a new monotypic genus: Rhyopsocoides typhicolus (Psoquillidae) and Omilneura circumvittata (Ptiloneuridae) from Mexico, Belicania cervantesi
Three new species of Goja Navás (Psocodea: ‘Psocoptera’: Epipsocidae) from Sierra Juárez, Oaxaca, Mexico
Three species of Goja Navas collected in the mountain communities of Santa Catarina Lachatao, Ixtlan de Juarez and Santiago Comaltepec, are here described and illustrated. All of them are endemic to
A New Epipsocid Genus (Psocoptera: Epipsocidae) from the Dominican Republic
TLDR
Mesepipsocoides perezgelaberti is close to Mesepipsocus Badonnel, but differs from it and from other epipsocid genera in which the females lack v1, in that the pattern of branching of the forewing M is unique, and in that hindwings M is three branched.

Paleobotany in cladistics and cladistics in paleobotany: enlightenment and uncertainty
TLDR
There is no simple way to compare the “strength” of parsimony between two data sets that have different numbers of characters and/or taxa in relation to missing data, but methods under development may provide ways to incorporate the effect of missing values into relative measures of group support such as Bremer support, character removal, and the bootstrap.
