The photocatalytic oxidation of phenanthrene was investigated in aqueous TiO2 suspensions under UV light irradiation. Chemical oxygen demand (COD) measurements, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, IR spectrometer and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analytical techniques were used to monitor the reaction process.
