Ambient ultraviolet-B (UVB) radiation induces lethal effects in the two-spotted spider mite Tetranychus urticae, whereas photoreactivation by irradiation with ultraviolet-A and visible light (VIS) plays an important role to increase survival of mites irradiated by UVB.
