The processes of liposome solubilization and reconstitution were studied by using n-dodecyl octaethylene glycol monoether (C12E8). The solubilization of large unilamellar liposomes prepared by reverse-phase evaporation was systematically investigated by turbidity, 31P nuclear magnetic resonance, and centrifugation experiments.
