BACKGROUND Ultrasonic microbubbles are used as ultrasound-triggered delivery carriers for protein drugs. AIM This work was to prepare stabilized protein-loaded phospholipid-based ultrasonic microbubbles (PUM) and to determine its value as a protein delivery system.
