In a previous paper (Nie et al. in JHEP 1311:087, arXiv:1309.2204 [hep-th], 2013), we presented a holographic s $$+$$+ p superconductor model with a scalar triplet charged under an SU(2) gauge field in the bulk. We also study the competition and coexistence of the s-wave and p-wave orders in the probe limit. In this work we continue to study the model by considering the full back-reaction. The model shows a rich phase structure and various condensate behaviors such as the “n-type” and “u-type…

Holographic model of hybrid and coexisting s-wave and p-wave Josephson junction

In this paper the holographic model for a hybrid and coexisting s-wave and p-wave Josephson junction is constructed by a triplet charged scalar field coupled with a non-Abelian SU(2) gauge field in

Split degenerate states and stable p$$+i$$+ip phases from holography

In this paper, we investigate the p$$+i$$+ip superfluid phases in the complex vector field holographic p-wave model. We find that in the probe limit, the p$$+i$$+ip phase and the p-wave phase are

H − T phase diagrams of a holographic p-wave superfluid

Abstract We study the competition between the p-wave and the p+ip superfluid solutions in a holographic model with applied magnetic field intensity H. We find that when H is turned on, both the

Holographic phase transitions from higgsed, non abelian charged black holes

A bstractWe find solutions of a gravity-Yang-Mills-Higgs theory in four dimensions that represent asymptotic anti-de Sitter charged black holes with partial/full gauge symme-try breaking. We then

Zero temperature holographic superfluids with two competing orders

We initiate the investigation of the zero temperature holographic superfluids with two competing orders, where besides the vacuum phase, two one band superfluid phases, the coexistent superfluid

The holographic p + ip solution failed to win the competition in dRGT massive gravity

In this paper, the holographic p-wave superfluid model with charged complex vector field is studied in dRGT massive gravity beyond the probe limit. The stability of p-wave and p+ip solutions are

Competition between the s-wave and p-wave superconductivity phases in a holographic model

A bstractWe build a holographic superconductor model with a scalar triplet charged under an SU(2) gauge field in the bulk. In this model, the s-wave and p-wave condensates can be consistently

Towards A Holographic Model of D-Wave Superconductors

The holographic model for S-wave high ${T}_{c}$ superconductors developed by Hartnoll, Herzog, and Horowitz is generalized to describe D-wave superconductors. The $3+1$ dimensional gravitational

Holographic p-wave superfluid

In the probe limit, we numerically construct a holographic p-wave superfluid model in the 4D and 5D AdS black holes coupled to a Maxwell-complex vector field. We find that, for the condensate with

Holographic phase transitions of p-wave superconductors in Gauss-Bonnet gravity with backreaction

We investigate the phase transitions of holographic p-wave superconductors in (4 + 1)-dimensional Einstein-Yang-Mills-Gauss-Bonnet theories, in a grand canonical ensemble. Turning on the backreaction

The many phases of holographic superfluids

We investigate holographic superfluids in AdSd+1 with d =3, 4 in the nonbackreacted approximation for various masses of the scalar field. In d =3 the phase structure is universal for all the masses

A holographic p-wave superconductor model

A bstractWe study a holographic p-wave superconductor model in a four dimensional Einstein-Maxwell-complex vector field theory with a negative cosmological constant. The complex vector field is

Analytical coexistence of s-, p-, (s + p)-phases of a holographic superconductor

We analytically study the critical phase of a mixed system of the U(2) gauge fields and global symmetry on the boundary using gauge/gravity. A variational minimization problem has been formulated.

Competing p-wave orders

We construct electrically charged, asymptotically AdS5 black hole solutions that are dual to d = 4 CFTs in a superfluid phase with either p-wave or (p + ip)-wave order. The two types of black holes

Coexistence and competition of ferromagnetism and p-wave superconductivity in holographic model

By combining a holographic $p$-wave superconductor model and a holographic ferromagnetism model, we study the coexistence and competition of ferromagnetism and $p$-wave superconductivity. It is found
