  • Self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) comprised of a mixture of thiol–lipid and spacer–thiol have been used to tether bilayer lipid membranes. However, the properties of these mixed SAMs and their effect on the tethered bilayer lipid membranes (tBLMs) are not fully understood.
