This paper presents results of application of novel methodology of direct synchronized pulsewidth modulation to a dual inverter-fed open-end winding induction motor drive with elimination of zero sequence currents. Control algorithms are based in this case on the 120°-shifting of control and output signals of two standard three-phase inverters.
