In this paper we consider the nonlinear inverse problem of phase retrieval in the context of dynamical sampling. Where phase retrieval deals with the recovery of signals & images from phaseless measurements, dynamical sampling was introduced by Aldroubi et al in 2015 as a tool to recover diffusion fields from spatiotemporal samples. Considering finite-dimensional signals evolving in time under the action of a knownmatrix, our aim is to recover the signal up to global phase in a stable way from…
Phase Retrieval and System Identification in Dynamical Sampling via Prony's Method
TLDR
This paper combines phase retrieval in dynamical sampling with the identi cation of the system using Prony’s method, and establishes several recovery guarantees for signal and system, whose proofs are constructive and yield analytic recovery methods.

One-Dimensional Discrete-Time Phase Retrieval
TLDR
This section studies the structure of the arising ambiguities of the phase retrieval problem and shows how they can be characterized using the given Fourier intensity, and considers the assumption of non-negativity of the solution signal, additional magnitudes or phases of some signal components in time domain, or additional intensities of interference measurements in frequency domain.
One-dimensional phase retrieval with additional interference measurements
TLDR
It is shown that each signal can be uniquely recovered from its Fourier intensity and two further interference measurements between the unknown signal and a modulation of the signal itself.
One-Dimensional Phase Retrieval with Additional Interference Intensity Measurements

It is shown that each signal can be uniquely recovered from its Fourier intensity and two further interference intensity measurements between the unknown signal and a modulation of the signal itself.
Phase Retrieval with Polarization
TLDR
A novel measurement design which is inspired by interferometry and exploits certain properties of expander graphs is provided, and an efficient phase retrieval procedure is given which rivals the guarantee for PhaseLift.
Phase retrieval of evolving signals from space-time samples
Phaseless reconstruction from space-time samples is a nonlinear problem of recovering a function x in a Hilbert space ℋ from the absolute values of linear measurements {|〈x, φ<inf>i</inf>〉|, …,
Fourier Phase Retrieval: Uniqueness and Algorithms
TLDR
This chapter surveys methods to guarantee uniqueness in Fourier phase retrieval and presents different algorithmic approaches to retrieve the signal in practice, and outlines some of the main open questions in this field.
Phase Retrieval via Matrix Completion
This paper develops a novel framework for phase retrieval, a problem which arises in X-ray crystallography, diffraction imaging, astronomical imaging, and many other applications. Our approach,
The Mathematics of Phase Retrieval
The problem of phase retrieval, i.e., the problem of recovering a function from the magnitudes of its Fourier transform, naturally arises in various fields of physics, such as astronomy, radar,
