Combined irbesartan/hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ) formulations are often used clinically. Pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling was applied to investigate the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic interaction between irbesartan and HCTZ in renal hypertensive dogs at non-steady-state and steady-state.
