In this study,an effort has been made to evaluate the pesticide residues in vegetables from western China. Fifty-one pesticides, including organophosphorus, organochlorine, carbamate and pyrethroid, were detected in 369 commonly used vegetables by GC-MS. Concentrations of organophosphorus pesticides were detected ranging from 0.0008 to 18.8200 mg/kg, among which organophosphorus pesticide concentrations exceeded their maximum residue levels (MRLs) in five samples. Carbamate and organochlorine…

Monitoring of Pesticide Residues in Commonly Used Fruits and Vegetables in Kuwait
TLDR
The results indicate the occurrence of pesticide residues in commonly consumed fruits and vegetables in Kuwait, and pointed to an urgent need to develop comprehensive intervention measures to reduce the potential health risk to consumers.
Evaluation of Pesticide Residues in Vegetables from the Asir Region, Saudi Arabia
TLDR
Based on the results of this study, a government-supported program for the monitoring of pesticide residues in vegetables be established to promote consumers’ health and achieve sustainable farming systems is recommended.
Assessment of Pesticide Residue Levels in Vegetables sold in some Markets in Lagos State, Nigeria
TLDR
The presence of pesticides in the vegetables calls for strict regulation of the application of the pesticides in farms and preservation chambers to help in preventing some of the diseases and other problems associated with pesticide accumulation.
