Objectives To investigate the incidence and clinical impact of prenatally diagnosed persistent right umbilical vein (PRUV) in a referral population and to evaluate the findings together with those from previous publications. Methods This was a retrospective analysis of 39 cases with PRUV diagnosed in three tertiary referral centers for prenatal medicine between 1996 and 2009.
