This paper describes the synthesis and application of γ -Al 2 O 3 supported SmCoO 3 perovskite-type oxide in the catalytic propane dehydrogenation to propene. Various techniques including X-ray diffraction (XRD), H 2 temperature-programmed reduction (H 2 -TPR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), thermogravimetric analysis (TG) and X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS) were used to characterize the physico-chemical properties of SmCoO 3 /Al 2 O 3 and derived Co-based catalyst. The… Expand

Oxidation of ethane on high specific surface SmCoO3 and PrCoO3 perovskites
Abstract An adapted sol–gel method allowed synthesizing SmCoO 3 and PrCoO 3 oxides with high specific surface (ca. 28 m 2  g −1 ) and a relatively clean perovskite phase at 600 °C, a temperature muchExpand
Light alkane dehydrogenation over mesoporous Cr2O3/Al2O3 catalysts
Abstract Light alkane dehydrogenation was investigated over a series of mesoporous Cr 2 O 3 /Al 2 O 3 catalysts containing 2–15 wt.% chromia, synthesized via the supramolecular templating technique.Expand
Dry reforming of methane over Ni perovskite type oxides
Abstract La1−xSrxNiO3 perovskite type oxides were synthesized by the auto combustion method and tested as catalysts precursors in the dry reforming of methane with CO2 to syngas at 700 °C and 1 atm.Expand
Perovskite-Derived Pt–Ni/Zn(Ni)TiO3/SiO2 Catalyst for Propane Dehydrogenation to Propene
Platinum-based catalysts are promising materials for the propane dehydrogenation (PDH). The Pt sintering and carbon deposition are still the urgent problems to be solved in this system. This paperExpand
Effects of the state of Co species in Co/Al2O3 catalysts on the catalytic performance of propane dehydrogenation
Abstract In this paper, the Co/Al2O3 catalyst was prepared by incipient wetness impregnation method, and different post treatment methods were used to promote its dehydrogenation properties.Expand
