The purpose was to assess differences in neonatal morbidity and mortality between maternally transferred, neonatally transferred and inborn neonates. We evaluated a continuous series of all antenatal transported infants (ATI, n=247) and postnatal transported infants (PTI, n=34) to the NICU and all preterm inborns (NTI, n=120) delivered at the University Hospital of Vienna.
