Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have emerged as a new class of large scale networks of embedded systems with limited communication, computation and energy resources. Recently IEEE 802.15.4 standards are accepted as Low-Rate Wireless Personal Area Network (LR-WPAN) which are most extensively used communication platform for WSNs. Traditional routing in IEEE 802.15.4 networks is based on Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV) which facilitates the building of mesh networks for data dissemination. However, the performance of AODV degrades in terms of throughput for high mobility situations. In this paper, performance analysis of Dynamic MANET On-Demand (DYMO) Routing Protocol is done for various pause time and speed. Simulation is done in QUALNET Network Simulator version 6.1. Performance parameters of DYMO such as Throughput, Total Packets Received and Average End-to-End Delay are obtained and compared.
