The UHDTV system, which provides realistic service with ultra-high definite video and multi-channel audio, has been studied as a next generation broadcasting service. Since the conventional digital terrestrial transmission system is not capable to cover the increased transmission data rate of the UHDTV service, there are great necessity of researches about increase of data rate. Accordingly, the researches has been studied to increase the transmission data rate of the DVB-T2 system using dual…

Bit Interleaver Design of Ultra High-Order Modulations in DVB-T2 for UHDTV Broadcasting
TLDR
The newly designed interleavers improved the decoding performance of the error correction coding by maximally 0.6 dB SNR over both of AWGN and random fading channel.
Bit Error Rate of Generalized Triangular QAM
Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) is widely used in contemporary wired and wireless communications systems. In this paper, I propose a generalized triangular quadrature amplitude modulation
DVB-T2 기반의 UHDTV 방송을 위한 초고차 성상 변조방식의 비트 인터리버 설계
UHDTV(ultra-high definition television)가 초고해상도 방송 서비스를 지향하는 차세대 방송 서비스로 논의되고 있다.

Improved design of bit mapping based on EXIT-chart analysis for DVB-T2 system
TLDR
Simulation results indicate that the proposed DEMUX schemes can even surpass the performance of the DEMUX operation specified in the DVB-T2 standard.
Improve the Performance of LDPC Coded QAM by Selective Bit Mapping in Terrestrial Broadcasting System
In this paper, we employ selective bit mapping to improve the performance of the LDPC coded QAM scheme for terrestrial DTV broadcasting system. The threshold of message-passing decoding can be
Technology for next-generation digital terrestrial broadcasting — Field experiments of dual-polarized MIMO-OFDM transmission using LDPC codes
We have developed a transmission system using ultra-multilevel orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology, dual-polarized multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology, and
Optimized Mapping Schemes for LDPC Coded Higher Order Modulated QAM Transmission
TLDR
This work shows how the performance of a communication system is influenced when different bit to symbol mapping schemes of a higher order modulation are combined with LDPC coding, and proposes novel mapping methods and shows performance results in combination withLDPC coding.

TLDR
This paper proposes to simplify the analysis about the decoding behavior by using a set of surrogate binary erasure channels (BEC), which represent the mutual information between the uniformly-distributed binary input and the likelihood ratios of the effective parallel AWGN channels.
The capacity of low-density parity-check codes under message-passing decoding
TLDR
The results are based on the observation that the concentration of the performance of the decoder around its average performance, as observed by Luby et al. in the case of a binary-symmetric channel and a binary message-passing algorithm, is a general phenomenon.
Low-density parity-check codes
TLDR
A simple but nonoptimum decoding scheme operating directly from the channel a posteriori probabilities is described and the probability of error using this decoder on a binary symmetric channel is shown to decrease at least exponentially with a root of the block length.
Overview of the High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) Standard
TLDR
The main goal of the HEVC standardization effort is to enable significantly improved compression performance relative to existing standards-in the range of 50% bit-rate reduction for equal perceptual video quality.
