In this letter, the secrecy performance of the classic Wyner's wiretap model over generalized-K fading channels is studied. The closed-form expressions for the average secrecy capacity, secure outage probability, and the probability of strictly positive secrecy capacity are derived. The new expressions provide a unified form, which can handle several of the well-known composite fading environments as special or limiting cases. Monte-Carlo simulations are performed to verify the proposed…

TLDR
Novel and exact expressions of the average secrecy capacity and secrecy outage probability have been derived and they are applicable for the secrecy performance analysis of some field measurements, which cannot be analyzed by previous results.

Performance Analysis of Physical Layer Security over Rician/Nakagami-m Fading Channels

TLDR
The simulation and numerical results show that the results using the approximation between Rician and Nakagami-$m$ fading is insufficient in evaluating those probabilities because of only approximation to main bodies of the probability density function, and that the analyses are valid.

TLDR
The derived theoretical expressions can be directly used to evaluate system performance without time-consuming simulations and will enable system designers to quickly determine the optimal available parameter choices when facing different security risks.

TLDR
The secrecy systems operating over spatially correlated composite fading channels is analyzed, and novel analytical expressions for the probability that the secrecy capacity falls below a target secrecy rate are presented.
