Perfluoroperhydrophenanthrene (Vitreon) in the management of giant retinal tears: results of a collaborative study.


Fifty cases of retinal detachment with a giant retinal tear were managed using perfluoroperhydrophenanthrene (Vitreon) as an intraoperative and postoperative tool.
