PURPOSE To describe nonsurgical stent placement to treat subclavian steal syndrome after failure of traditional balloon angioplasty. PATIENTS AND METHODS Seven patients with subclavian steal syndrome underwent diagnostic angiography, which showed four stenoses and three occlusions of the proximal left subclavian artery.
