OBJECTIVE To investigate the feasibility of percutaneous intramuscular neuromuscular electric stimulation (perc-NMES) for treating shoulder subluxation and pain in patients with chronic hemiplegia. DESIGN Before-after trial. SETTING University-affiliated tertiary care hospital.
