AIM To evaluate the therapeutic effect and the indication of percutaneous ethanol injection (PEI), radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and their combination in treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). METHODS Two hundred and fifty-five patients with HCC received treatment of PEI, RFA or their combination.
