Absorption across full thickness human skin was evaluated in vitro for five selected glycol ethers. Skin membranes were settled on static diffusion cells and both neat and 50% water diluted glycol ethers were applied on the donor chamber for 8 h. The amount of glycol ethers permeated into the receptor fluid was measured by gas chromatograph equipped with flame ionization detector (GC-FID).
