The pentapeptide PLNPK could inhibit the transformation and proliferation of mouse T lymphocytes in mice. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is essentially a kind of T cell-mediated arthritis. Therefore, we assessed the therapeutic ability of PLNPK on adjuvant arthritis (AA) rats, and examined its effects on signals of CD4+ T cell activation.
