The occurrence of Pelecystolafraudulentella (Zeller, 1852) in Slovakia is recorded. This species was hitherto only known from two distant localities in Slovenia and southeastern Sweden. Photographs and sketches are given of the male and female adults and genitalia.

First report of the old world genus Pelecystola in North America, with description of a new species (Lepidoptera, Tineidae)

The genus Pelecystola, which was previously represented by six widely scattered species known only from the Palearctic, Indomalayan, and Ethiopian regions, is reported for the western hemisphere, with a new species found to occur rather commonly over much of eastern North America.
