Patterns for Fault Tolerant Software was published in 2007 (Wiley). It contains sixty-three patterns related to designing software to tolerate faults with the goal of high availability. The patterns all presuppose a traditional software on hardware operating model that was prevalent in the computing industry up to the mid-2000s.
