Patient susceptibility limits to the effectiveness of preventive oral health education.

Abstract

A preventive oral health care regimen will not succeed for every dental patient. Instruction probably will not be effective unless the patient has a good general attitude toward all his health habits. Dentists who have developed a preventive program should individualize the treatment to obtain maximum patient susceptibility.
