The long-term acceptance of and satisfaction with penile prostheses were assessed in patients with Peyronie's disease and their partners. From 1985 to 1987, 50 men with advanced Peyronie's disease and associated erectile dysfunction were treated with a semirigid penile implant without additional plaque surgery.
