We study scalar-tensor-tensor and tensor-scalar-scalar three point cross correlations generated by the dynamics of a transiently rolling spectator axion-U(1) gauge field model during inflation. In this framework, tensor and scalar fluctuations are sourced by gauge fields at the non-linear level due to gravitational interactions, providing a chiral background of gravitational waves while keeping the level of scalar fluctuations at the observationally viable levels at CMB scales. We show that the… Expand

Synthetic Gravitational Waves from a Rolling Axion Monodromy
In string theory inspired models of axion-like fields, sub-leading non-perturbative effects, if sufficiently large, can introduce steep cliffs and gentle plateaus onto the underlying scalarExpand
Primordial Gravitational Waves from Axion-Gauge Fields Dynamics
Inspired by the chromo-natural inflation model of Adshead&Wyman, we reshape its scalar content to relax the tension with current observational bounds. Besides an inflaton, the setup includes aExpand
Tensor non-Gaussianity from axion-gauge-fields dynamics: parameter search
We calculate the bispectrum of scale-invariant tensor modes sourced by spectator SU(2) gauge fields during inflation in a model containing a scalar inflaton, a pseudoscalar axion and SU(2) gaugeExpand
Observable non-gaussianity from gauge field production in slow roll inflation, and a challenging connection with magnetogenesis
In any realistic particle physics model of inflation, the inflaton can be expected to couple to other fields. We consider a model with a dilaton-like coupling between a U(1) gauge field and a scalarExpand
Mixed non-gaussianity from axion-gauge field dynamics
We study scalar-tensor-tensor cross correlation $\langle \zeta hh \rangle$ generated by the dynamics of interacting axion and SU(2) gauge fields during inflation. We quantize the quadratic action andExpand
Gauge field production in supergravity inflation: Local non-Gaussianity and primordial black holes
When inflation is driven by a pseudoscalar field χ coupled to vectors as α4χFF˜, this coupling may lead to a copious production of gauge quanta, which in turns induces non-Gaussian andExpand
CMB Scale Dependent Non-Gaussianity from Massive Gravity during Inflation
We consider a cosmological model in which the tensor mode becomes massive during inflation, and study the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) temperature and polarization bispectra arising from theExpand
On Synthetic Gravitational Waves from Multi-field Inflation
We revisit the possibility of producing observable tensor modes through a continuous particle production process during inflation. Particularly, we focus on the multi-field realization of inflationExpand
Scale-dependent gravitational waves from a rolling axion
We consider a model in which a pseudo-scalar field $\sigma$ rolls for some e-folds during inflation, sourcing one helicity of a gauge field. These fields are only gravitationally coupled to theExpand
Non-Gaussianity from axion-gauge fields interactions during inflation
We study the scalar-tensor-tensor non-Gaussian signal in an inflationary model comprising also an axion coupled with SU(2) gauge fields. In this set-up, metric fluctuations are sourced by the gaugeExpand
