Quality factor is the most essential parameter in the concept of the mid-range wireless power transmission. The theoretical formula of the transmission efficiency was redefined as a function of coupling coefficient and quality factor. This redefinition enables simple comparison between the conventional close-range electromagnetic induction transmission and the mid-range transmission.
