The following parameters related to oxygen free radicals (OFR) were determined in erythrocytes and the epidermis of hairless rats: catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GPx), glutathione reductase (GR), reduced (GSH) and oxidized (GSSG) glutathione, glutathione S-transferase (GST), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS).
