Abstract A parallel implementation of the Shardlow splitting algorithm (SSA) for Dissipative Particle Dynamics (DPD) simulations is presented. The isothermal and isoenergetic SSA implementations are compared to the DPD version of the velocity-Verlet integrator in terms of numerical stability and performance.
