  • I n this article, we report a case of papillary thyroid carcinoma arising in a thyroglossal duct cyst of a 9year-old boy. Approximately 150 cases of carinoma have been reported in thyroglossal remnants -only three of these were in patients younger than 10 years of age.'.''
