I n this article, we report a case of papillary thyroid carcinoma arising in a thyroglossal duct cyst of a 9year-old boy. Approximately 150 cases of carinoma have been reported in thyroglossal remnants -only three of these were in patients younger than 10 years of age.'.'' Management of patients with papillary carcinoma remains controversial. Management of this patient, as discussed here, was based upon the extent of the disease, a review of the world literature, and the recent availability of…

[Papillary carcinoma in a thyroglossal duct cyst: report of two cases].

TLDR
Two females aged 15 and 27 years consulting for a cervical mass are reported, with a solid cystic lesion found and excised using the Sistrunk procedure, which disclosed a papillary carcinoma in both patients.

Papillary carcinoma arising in a thyroglossal cyst.

TLDR
A case report of a papillary carcinoma arising within a thyroglossal cyst in a 51 year old woman is reported, which is good as metastasis is uncommon.

Carcinoma arising in thyroglossal remnants.

TLDR
Three patients with a papillary carcinoma arising in a thyroglossal duct cyst are presented and the literature is reviewed and Sistrunk's operation is the treatment of choice.

Incidental diagnosis of primary papillary carcinoma arising from thyroglossal duct cyst: A rare case report

TLDR
A case of primary papillary carcinoma arising from thyroglossal duct cyst in a 45 year old woman is presented.

Papillary carcinoma in a thyroglossal duct remnant with normal thyroid gland

TLDR
A case of papillary carcinoma in the thyroglossal duct with a normal thyroid gland is presented.

Papillary thyroid carcinoma formation in a thyroglossal cyst. A case report

TLDR
A 40 year old male with papillary thyroid carcinoma formation in a thyroglossal cyst is reported, who underwent complete thyroidectomy with postoperative radioactive iodine treatment and his follow up revealed no evidence of recurrence.

Papillary carcinoma of a thyroglossal duct cyst: the first case at Songklanagarind Hospital

TLDR
The first case of papillary carcinoma of thyroglossal duct cyst in Songklanagarind Hospital is reported, a 60-year-old man who presented with a midline neck mass and was placed on thyroid hormone suppression treatment.

Carcinoma of the thyroglossal duct: case reports and a literature review.

TLDR
Three patients with thyroglossal cyst carcinomas are presented and the features of the disease, as reported in the literature, are discussed.

Thyroid papillary carcinoma arising in ectopic thyroid tissue within a second branchial cleft cyst

TLDR
A 34-year-old woman with papillary carcinoma arising in ectopic thyroid tissue within a branchial cyst was presented in this paper.

TLDR
Computed tomography allows characterization and precise identification of the extent of the lesion prior to surgical resection.

Anaplastic carcinoma arising from median ectopic thyroid (Thyroglossal duct remnant)

TLDR
The first case of anaplastic carcinoma arising in median ectopic thyroid (thyroglossal duct remnants) in an 84‐year‐old woman is presented and the presence of a histologically benign follicular neoplasm adjacent to the carcinoma suggests the possibility that the anaplastics carcinoma resulted from the transformation of an underlying well‐differentiated tumor.

Postirradiation carcinoma in a thyroglossal duct remnant: follicular variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma.

TLDR
More cases of carcinoma in a thyroglossal duct remnant may be seen as those patients who underwent head and neck irradiation in childhood mature, as this ectopic tissue presumably has the same malignant potential as that in the thyroid gland.

Carcinoma of the thyroglossal duct.

TLDR
Two patients with carcinoma of the thyroglossal duct of thyroid type are revealed, and the Sistrunk procedure is recommended for initial surgical therapy with further surgical or adjuvant therapy dependent on associated clinical findings.

TLDR
Two cases of papillary carcinoma arising in thyroglossal duct cysts are reported and no difference was seen both at the light microscopic and ultrastructural levels.

Carcinoma arising in median ectopic thyroid (including thyroglossal duct tissue)

TLDR
Seven patients, followed for from 6 months to 15 years, has had clinical evidence of recurrent disease and the differentiation between a carcinoma arising in median ectopic thyroid tissue and a metastatic papillary carcinoma from an occult primary in the main thyroid gland is discussed.

Endocrine dependency of papillary carcinomas of the thyroid.

TLDR
The incidence of favorable response to feeding of desiccated thyroid was much higher in patients less than 40 years old than in those more than 40, and control was also obtained more frequently in those patients whose cancers had developed after radiation therapy of the neck for benign disease.
