OBJECTIVES Pancreatic cancer is a lethal disease mostly affecting elderly people. Clinical trials on treatment contain disproportionately fewer elderly patients compared with everyday practice. This retrospective study evaluates differences in the rates of chemotherapy delivered and associated survival in different age groups.
