Novel chiral palladium diamino complexes with the asymmetric donor N atom Pd(En*)X2 (where En* = N,N′-bis{[(1S,5R)-6,6-dimethylbicyclo[3.1.1]hept-2-en-2-yl]methyl}-1,2-ethylenediamine; X = Cl and Br) were obtained and characterized. Nitrogen-containing derivatives of the natural monoterpene a-pinene were studied as accessible optically active ligands.
Chiral palladium complexes based on derivatives of benzylamine and 2α-hydroxypinan-3-one
Synthesized and characterized new chiral palladium complexes, some of which contain asymmetric donor nitrogen atom. Nitrogen-containing derivatives (+) - and (-)-2α-hydroxypinan-3-one-Expand
Palladium (II) complexes based on bidentate chiral Schiff base and amine ligands derived from (−)-myrtenal: Synthesis, characterization and catalytic activity in Suzuki reaction
Abstract (−)-Myrtenal 1 was reacted with N,N-dimethylethylenediamine and Na2SO4 in PhH to give Schiff base (HL, 2) in 98% yield. Imin 2 was reduced with NaBH4 in EtOH to give diamine (HL, 3) in 94%Expand
Chiral imines and amines based on 2-hydroxypinan-3-one
The new chiral derivatives of benzylamine and 2α-hydroxypinan-3-one (1R,2R,5R)-3-[(1S)-α-methylbenzylamino]-2,6,6-trimethylbicyclo[3.1.1]heptan-2-ol (2),Expand
Review Article A Review on Palladium Catalyzed Coupling Reactions
Palladium compounds are used as catalyst, usually as homogeneous catalyst in many coupling reactions. Unoptimized reactions typically use 10-15 mol% of palladium; whereas optimized, catalyst loadingsExpand

Resolutions of tertiary phosphines and arsines with orthometallated palladium (II)—amine complexes
Abstract The use of the homochiral forms of chloro-bridged palladium (II) complexes containing orthometallated N , N -dimethyl(α-methylbenzyl)amines and related naphthylamines for the resolution ofExpand
Abstract The reaction of racemic N,N-dimethylamino-3-but-l-ene (1) and N,N-dimethylamino-l-cyclohex-2-ene (2) with Li2PdCl4 in methanol at 0°C yielded [Pd(CH2CH (OMe)CH(Me)NMe2)(μ-Cl)]2 (4) andExpand
Acid-base catalysis using chiral palladium complexes
Chiral Pd aqua and µ-hydroxo complexes were found to act as mild Brønsted acids and bases, and chiral Pd enolates were generated from these complexes even under acidic conditions. HighlyExpand
A resolution of the monodentate P*-chiral phosphine PButC6H4Br-4 and its NMR-deduced absolute configuration
Abstract Both enantiomers of the monodentate phosphine PBu t C 6 H 4 Br-4 were obtained in an enantiopure state by chromatographic separation of their diastereomeric adducts with a new homochiralExpand
New palladium(II) cyclometallated compounds derived from trans-cinnamalylideneimines via CH activation of an sp2-aliphatic carbon atom
Abstract Treatment of the Schiff-base ligands C 6 H 5 C(H)C(R)C(H)NCy (R=H, a ; R=Me, b ) with Pd(OAc) 2 gave the acetato-bridged dinuclear compounds [Pd{C 6 H 5 CC(R)C(H)NCy}(O 2 CMe)] 2 (R=H,Expand
Application of palladacycles in Heck type reactions
Abstract In the last 3 years, there have been tremendous developments in palladium catalytic systems for Heck type reactions. One of the successful approaches towards activation of less reactiveExpand
Palladacycles in catalysis – a critical survey
The application of palladacycles as catalysts for cross-coupling and similar reactions is reviewed. In the majority of cases palladacycles are likely to serve as a source of highly active butExpand
Intramolecular carbopalladation of allylic amines and sulfides
Les amines et les sulfures de β-malonyl allyle se cyclisent en presence de tetrachloropalladate de lithium et d'une base pour donner des palladocycles bicycliques qui conduisent aux cyclopentanes parExpand
The heck reaction as a sharpening stone of palladium catalysis.
