Little, G. opposita (Vell.) Reitz, G. pernambucencis (Casar.) Lund., Leucaster caniflorus (Mart.) Choisy e Mirabilis jalapa L. Os graos de polen foram… Expand

Catálogo sistemático dos pólens das plantas arbóreas do Brasil meridional XIV - Nyctaginaceae e Phytolaccaceae
TLDR
In this part of the Catalogue, pollen grains of Nyctaginaceae and Phytolaccaceae from Santa Catarina have been examined and an identification key for the pollen grains studied of the two families is present, as well as a phylogenetic discussion of these species based on the palynological data. Molecular phylogeny of Nyctaginaceae: taxonomy, biogeography, and characters associated with a radiation of xerophytic genera in North America.
TLDR
Parsimony, likelihood, and Bayesian methods were used to reconstruct the phylogeny for the Nyctaginaceae, which is neotropical in origin and associated with a dramatic radiation of genera occurred in the deserts of North America. Expand
Ultrastructure of pollen exine in centrospermous families
TLDR
All families have close pollen morphological relationships, with close morphological similarities of the first ten families enumerated above, i.e., those containing betalains. Expand
Pollen Morphology in the Order Centrospermae
TLDR
Pollen morphology reinforces the placement of the Cactaceae and Didiereaceae in the order, and would support the inclusion of Dysphania in the Chenopodiaceae, while palynological data emphasize the close relationship of the betalain families, and support their association with the anthocyanin families. Pollen Morphology in the Nyctaginaceae
Abstract The pollen morphology of the tribes Colignonieae, Boldoeae and Leucastereae is described, and scanning micrographs and a taxonomic discussion are provided. The Colignonieae haveExpand

TLDR
The pollen morphology of 16 species of aquatic angiosperms, distributed in 14 families from Karachi was examined by light and scanning microscope, and 4 distinct pollen types are recognized. Expand
[Sieve-tube plastids and plastid filaments of caryophyllales : On the fine structure and distribution of a further specific plastid].
TLDR
Comparative investigations of 20 Centrospermae from 12 families revealed that a plastid with an electron-dense core and/or annular plASTid filaments is typical for Caryophyllales, indicating how the somewhat different inclusions of various species could have been differentiated in an ontogenetic and phylogenetic process.
