The paper deals with optimal tuning of a PID controller for a load frequency control of two area Power system using particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. The proposed approach has superior feature, including easy implementation, stable convergence characteristics and very good computational performances efficiency. The main objective is to obtain a stable ,robust and controlled system by tuning the PID controller using PSO algorithm. The incurred value is compared with the traditional…
