Increasing of computation needs and improving of processor integration make the mapping of embedded real-time applications more and more expensive. PROMPT [1] provides a new approach which relies on the co-operation of two technologies whose main strength consists in simultaneously taking into account regular and irregular aspects of telecom applications on Systems-On-aChip.
